Marilyn w, my husband ordered the easy fold 2 which came today. He spent hours researching small electric wheelchairs then he found the easy fold pro 2. It fit all his requirements and he is not easy to please. About 3 years ago he started having difficulty with walking and balance. After seeing 2 neurologist they both said it was some type of Parkinson but the Parkinson meds had no effect on me. I eventually lost all sense of balance and have to use a walker. The walker is good for short distancies but at 75 years old is not what I need. So I started looking up small electric wheel chairs. There are lots on the market but I refuse to buy any thing from China. I could not believe my luck when I found the easy pro 2. It really pays off to digg into the internet and not get frustrated when you can’t find what you are looking for. I probably spent 16 hours on the net using different search criteria but finally found what I wanted.

After a long search I finally decided to get the EasyFold 2.0 model and I’m very happy I did. The EasyFold arrived “ready-to-use” as promised and the packaging was so good and strong it left the chair in perfect condition. I had reservations about using a joystick instead of a tiller (like on a scooter) but after a “few” bumps in walls, doors, tables and chairs I realized I was driving too fast. Sure enough, once I slowed down I managed really well turning, going in and out of elevators, ramps and automatic doors. In spite of all the ‘little driving’ incidents there was not one mark or scratch or dent or any kind of damage on my chair (that convinced me even more that I had bought the perfect chair). The EasyFold 2.0 is the best e-wheelchair and the only negative comment I’d make would concern the slow max speed of 6 km/h 😄. Seriously, I do recommend the EasyFold to anyone looking for a fantastic product sold in Canada by a great team of people. I’m always glad to answer questions about my EasyFold and I intend to do so every time someone comments of my most favourite chair.

Excellent product fulfils all my needs. It does just what I needed it to do.
Folds easily, compact size to fit into the car trunk and very easy to use.

My new Easyfold PRO 2.0 is fantastic; it has given me a lot more freedom. I don’t have to rely on anyone to help me get around in my wheelchair. There’s no stopping me now, and it’s so easy to use both inside and outside the home.
It’s easy to use and fold to fit in the trunk of my car.

This wheelchair is FAR better than using a mobility scooter. The maneuverability in congested areas is AMAZING. The chair is well-made and robust. It is EXTREMELY simple to fold and unfold.
I STRONGLY recommend this chair to anyone looking for a more portable one to get out and about in the car

This is a sturdy, easy-to-fold power wheelchair that I can lift into and out of the trunk of my vehicle. Lightweight, comfortable, strong, and easy to use. It was well worth the money, and it allows me to go out on my own once more.

I just wanted to thank you, Rasa, for your help and answering my questions regarding the EasyFold Pro 2.0. You have answered all my questions and made the changes and additions right away.
The chair has arrived after only three days, as you had promised.
I am very pleased with the ride and how it manoeuvres. It changed my life from the first ride. I love the option of being able to unlock the wheels. It’s so easy to push and move around if needed.
As a chaplain, I use it mainly to get around in the buildings at work. The chair handles very easy and drives even on the slowest speed fast enough in hallways. It is narrow enough to “park” in hallways and leaves enough room for others to get past. I still have to figure out how to turn properly in elevators, but that is just a matter of getting to know the chair.
I have taken the chair outside to “go for a walk” with my wife and it works well, even on uneven walkways.
Though I am too weak to load the chair into our van, it is no problem for my wife. So, it is as advertised, easy to fold and to load into the vehicle.
I am very happy with the EasyFold Pro 2.0 and will recommend it to those in my care and friends.
Thank you so much. This chair is a life changer for me.
Thanks and Blessings,
Ron Babel, September 2020

Got my Easyfold power chair in May. Took it on holidays to Nova Scotia and used it on smooth hard walkways as well as on other surfaces without any problems. The batteries were fantastic, used for hours at a time, and never seemed to run down. Love my chair, can keep up with the rest of the family. I’m 76 and suffer from back disability and a regular walker is fine for short distances but can now travel long distances over a longer period of time.

I have Multiple Sclerosis and have difficulty walking any distance. Additionally because of my MS symptoms I cannot drive. Before I found EasyFold I was very limited in being able to participate in activities that people take for granted. I now have my freedom back! Because the chair is also foldable (it simply folds and fits into the trunk of our car) and therefore portable I am able to transport it easily and instead of staying home I can go shopping, to markets, birding with my friends and any number of activities where I would have had to opt out of because of my inability to walk any distance. As I have the EasyFold Model with the larger wheels I can now go back onto local community trails, something I enjoyed so much before being stricken with MS. I had to purchase the chair without being able to try it as I live in Nova Scotia so was a bit nervous. I reviewed the videos and spoke at length to the staff who were always helpful and knowledgeable about the chairs. This convinced me to make the purchase. When it arrived it was very obvious to me that the chair will last my lifetime. It is very well designed and solidly built, with a clear attention to detail. It is awesome to ride. It has allowed me to regain my freedom and mobility that MS took away from me. I would highly recommend it for the quality, portability and excellent staff support who truly believe in their product.

Great chair for it’s purpose. The portability is amazing and it’s very easy to use at airports and in non-accessible vehicles. We used a strap to keep it together so the chair did not unfold when stowed away in the airplane. A quick release would be better then a screw for removing the joystick (A quick release similar to a bike seat) this chair is definitely a game changer!
Dave Neary –
My new powerchair is better than I ever expected. It steering is amazing, better than any other chair by miles. It is so comfortable, I can be in it for an entire day without getting a sore behind. I love how easy it is to transfer, the arms flip right up. I looked at other companies but the EasyFold was the only Canadian company that have been in the wheelchair business for many years and understand their clients. They also have an actual store with a huge display!

“As I have aged, I have developed physical disabilities, and have needed a mobility scooter for getting around. While this has been a great asset, due to its size and design, I have found it to be less than perfect for negotiating tight spaces, doorways, hallway passages etc. This prompted me to look at the later models of power wheelchairs.
With a power wheelchair, (as opposed to a scooter,) you can of course, sit in from the front, and don’t have the front wheels taking up space in front of your feet. The power wheelchairs also have the ability to ‘turn on a dime’ because of their design. I therefore decided to do my research and shop around for the best, most efficient unit I could find, in a reasonable price package.
After studying many models on You Tube and other advertising media, I came across Mobility 1st. In London, Ontario, and spoke to ‘Shawn’ and ‘Rick’, who gave me much, very helpful assistance, and all without any pressure, or annoying sales rhetoric. They guided me to the Easyfold, power wheelchair, which, after some consideration I felt would fit my needs perfectly. I could not have had greater good fortune in my dealings. This is a wheelchair, which among other things will allow you to drive into the restaurant where you may wish to dine, and seat yourself right up to the table when the arms are folded up out of the way.
All my questions re: battery care, power capabilities, etc. were all taken care of and explained fully. A few computer button pushes and my order was in. The Easyfold powerchair arrived at my doorstep within 48 hours and fully assembled, and fully charged, right out of the (extremely well packaged) box.
This unit now suits my needs perfectly. I can easily get it folded, and into my Kia Minivan without struggling, and yet, have it unfolded and ready to go within (literally) seconds when needed at my destination.
Kudos to Mobility 1st plus Shaun and Rick and their staff, for a job well done!
Take it from me, these are the people to do business with.”

“I’ve had my chair for a month or two and took it to New York City. It is a great chair for it’s purpose. We used a strap to keep it together so the chair did not unfold when stowed away in the airplane. My recommendation would be to have a quick release rather than a screw for removing the joystick (similar to a bike seat) it took too long to unscrew the joystick when we were trying to board the plane.
We flew Air Canada and on the whole we did not have any issues. After checking in, we had to go to special services and fill out a sheet about my wheelchair and it was put in a Ziploc bag and attached to my wheelchair. To our knowledge it was never looked at again. We called the airline ahead of time and were aware of the sheet so we brought specifications about the wheelchair. We definitely would have not had all the information had we not called the airline and brought the specifications with us. The employees were willing to help but they were unfamiliar with the chair and the lithium battery through them for a loop. I would definitely include a strap along with the wheelchair to keep it together during airplane travel. The last thing you want is the wheelchair unfolding as they’re stowing it underneath the plane and something get broken.
This chair is definitely a game changer! Thanks! “

“Thanks for your prompt reply Rick. You answered all my questions – and the new manual is SO much clearer.
I appreciate your help. And I had a great first outing yesterday. I wheeled myself up to Dundas Street West and had lunch at a crowded cafe and was able to manoeuvre around easily.
I LOVE my Easy Rider!!”
